My experience has taught me that regardless of the hardship, the internal struggle can be the same. I have seen how something simple like a deep breath can be the difference between reacting to stressful life events and responding in a wise way.

I use my natural, analytical approach to research, years of training, and education to create psychoeducation groups where I utilize my skills and gifts to create connections, bring comfort, and lift up those I meet. My passion lies in helping people look beneath the surface to understand themselves more deeply.

I hold degrees in Family Relations from Spring Arbor University and Marketing from Davenport College. I expanded my education to include various trauma-informed studies, non-violent crisis intervention and engaging audiences in learning.

For over 10 years, I have connected with adults and children of diverse learning styles, cultures, and cognitive abilities throughout Northern Michigan in individual and group settings. A moderate amount of that time, I've been appointed to a crisis mental health unit where I contribute research-based psychoeducation groups.

I have witnessed that mental wellness can be challenged by either a single life event or deep-rooted systems experience. Regardless of the hardship, the internal struggle remains the same. I invite you to come into an imagined "cave" where there is nothing to do, nowhere to be, except to be PRESENT to process and breathe.
